Salsa Verde (Green Sauce)

Introduction & method

This is a delicious sauce, and variations of it are found around the world. It's fabulous on meat, fish or eggs, and even on its own on toast.

Salsa Verde (Green Sauce) Recipe

Coarsely chop the herbs and garlic. Put everything into a blender and pulse until everything is chopped up and mixed together. That's it! 

It will keep in a jar in the fridge for a week or two.

 15 grams fresh basil
 15 grams fresh parsley
 15 grams fresh mint
 4 anchoviess
 1 tbsp capers
 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
 0.5 clove garlic
 5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
