After gruesome exposés by Jamie Oliver and others, most people are wary of chicken nuggets because of the scary production methods that are used. But you can easily make your own, using real chicken, and they are somewhat addicitve. In France, these would be known as goujons.
Trim any fat of the chicken breast and cut into slices about 1cm (half an inch) thick and 2-3cm (about an inch) square. Dip each piece in flour to get it fully coated, then beaten egg, then breadcrumbs.
Heat a pan of oil on medium, and deep-fry the nuggets for about 6 minutes, until golden and crispy.
